I've seen an oil painting just like it. To me the dimensions seem a little off, but that 's just me.

i usually try to only adjust the contrast and levels to make my images visually more striking, i don't like post editing too much, which led to my lecturer giving me a hard time for not fixing the reflection flaw in the middle glass, but i actually liked it because it was so natural :P i guess taste differs

that's really cool, i wish i could see the painting

I tried to get the water level in each glass to align eventhough the perspective is still distorted, that's probably why it seems a little odd to the eye :)

I'm sorely impressed! How did you prevent the reflections? Or did you use very big diffusers? I remember reflective objects from my days at Tech. It was definitely not very easy!

well a polarizer helps a bit, then you have to shine the lights on to the backdrop instead of on the object itself and then you have to start using pieces of black or white board to reflect the light where you want it, it's at times like these that i wish i had 6 arms :P
