Just want to say sorry beforehand, i'm planning on uploading around 23 images. I've gotten a bit lax at keeping up to date with current projects.

I'm uploading pics from 5 different projects, the main thing they all have in common is that i took them and i did the make-up for all of them ^_^ was recently bitten by a make-up bug and have started experimenting like mad:


The geisha project
This started as a shoot to get an image for an advert and ended with me wanting to do a series. I'm still planning to dress as many of my friends as i can as geisha's.
  


Make-up portfolio
While helping a friend work on her make-up portfolio i also jumped in and did a little something as a bday gift for another friend, couldnt resist So the model with the purple eyes and little roses is mine and the multicolour make-up is my friend's
  


Sinister man
Talked my boyfriend into sitting still so i can ply some face paint on him, was a lengthy process but finally convinced him

was helping one of my students with a project and after the main shoot i was allowed to take a few pics.

In other news, i'm also planning to do a 5day make-up course end of this month to celebrate my current obsession, i'm so excited ^_^

Ok this is the situation. I'm busy helping out a friend, LoreKeeper, update his loading screen for MiniDota, which he is the coder of. So i drew this line art:



Which i think might be my best work to date. Now the problem is, i dont think i'm advanced enough in colouring yet to do it justice, so i want to open the field to anyone willing to try and colour this, i will try my hand at it aswell, but i really want the best version to go on the loading screen.

UPDATE I've uploaded a reference for the character into my scraps you can see it here:



I also uploaded a pic of the current loading screen so you can see the general layout thats gonna be used - image mostly to the left and info to the right:



You'll see that the deviation has a nice huge version as a preview image but also the download file is an Illustrator file. If you require any other formats let me know and i'll mail them to you.

Hopefully if i get some funds in i can turn this into a contest to draw more ppl but unfortunately i'm currently without prizes to offer.

I have recieved the following questions about the image sofar, plz feel free to add more

"Can I add a background?"
Yes definitely

"What is the colour scheme for the image?"

Pretty much anything you want it to be (just remember the character's skin is a light purple colour and her hair a very dark green), but preferably a dark scheme leaning towards black, blue and purple, as long as you can make it look Epic!


"Where will the text go on the image?"

The MiniDota logo and information will be to the right of the image, not sure what all of it will include, i've uploaded a screen shot of the current loading screen in my scraps:



"What resolution is it going to be displayed at?"

1024x768

Alignment:
True Neutral A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction.


Race:
Elves are known for their poetry, song, and magical arts, but when danger threatens they show great skill with weapons and strategy. Elves can live to be over 700 years old and, by human standards, are slow to make friends and enemies, and even slower to forget them. Elves are slim and stand 4.5 to 5.5 feet tall. Primary Class:
Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. Secondary Class:
Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.
